BLB Homes began with a hammer, a vision, and a deep love for the homes that make South Carolina such a special place. Founder, Byron Lawson grew up in the historic Shandon neighborhood, where his appreciation for timeless architecture and quality craftsmanship first took root. In 2008, Byron and his wife Kim, a licensed Realtor and design-minded collaborator, launched Byron Lawson Builders—now BLB Homes—to bring that passion into homes across the Midlands.

Chris brings over a decade of management experience to his role as Project Manager at BLB Homes. Since joining in August 2024, he has become the vital link between clients, subcontractors, and the BLB vision — ensuring every project runs smoothly and exceeds expectations.

Originally from Irmo, SC, Chris is known for his attention to detail and commitment to thoughtful solutions. He oversees scheduling, budgeting, client communication, and contractor coordination as the main point of contact from start to finish.

What Chris loves most is the creative freedom his role offers. He thrives on helping clients bring their visions to life and takes pride in the “before and after” moments that make each transformation meaningful.
